Fires

Ola guys and gals,
I just got back from attempting to prevent my parents newly constructed home from becoming nothing more than a pile of ashes in Lake Arrowhead. When I left yesterday, it was still standing but the fire was within a mile and on three sides.
If it burns then I guess I'll have to start over, clean up and rebuild. That means I get to spend even more weekends building their home and putting mine on the to do list again.
Guess I had to say something to someone. Thanks for listening.

*beep* that really sucks.
I hope the wind changes the fire course and nothing happens.
These fires of late are really putting everyone into a rough place.

I hear that, my Aunt and Uncle have(or had, we dont know yet) a home in Lake Arrowhead, they too are awaiting this fire's decision, if its about to eat up irreplaceable memories, I also have 2 friends in San Diego that are close, Summer (Azur Cyra) was 2000 feet the other day.
It really hits home when you see places on the news that your farmiliar with, only a few yards from flames, and even worse, people that you know, and love, are close as well.

Thanks a bunch guys and gals, The fire went to the doorstep then the rain put it out. So we only lost a little power and the food in the fridge. What a nerve wracking ordeal.
Wulfee, I hope all is well. =]
