I absolutely loved it. Went to a cinema and saw a 9:30pm session of the original, then reloaded at 12:01am openning day. It was even better than I'd expected!

That movie sucked.
Special effects and fights were awsome, but I felt like Neo was in a video game going from 1 boss monster to another.....

Good movie. I disagree w/Johud, I felt that they did amazing to keep it from that. It'd be so easy to fall into that trap but they kept group involvement.

Saw this movie last night. And let me tell you I was not ready for all the thinking that was required.
I liked it about as well as the original. It was different. It incorporated many more things than fighting. It brought in more of the programming aspect of the movie. It also showed us more of the relationships within the movie. I liked that, it keeps it interesting. It also had awesome fighting scences.
It's hard not to pit Neo against boss monsters as he is a super hero in the movie. He's pretty much the only one who can do what needs to be done. He's the only one who can fight the "boss" monsters. And they are all challenging him, testing his mettle, trying to destroy their only real threat.
Umm, enough dismantling for me. I've got to go see it again to pick up what I missed. I had a little headache after I was done watching it.
