I played beta some. Had some very cool features, however the control was very hard to get used to.

My bro who got me into AC and then split a few months later plays it. He says that the potential to really fight and fight well is pretty awesome. Although the UI is difficult to master, its about one of the best (in his opinion). He also states that it is a game designed by others who have played UO, Neverquest, AC and combined all the things they liked and subtracted the things they didn't. But that's what he says.
I've read the boards the developers have and it is very interesting. Although it has mixed reviews, it is a very pretty game.

i hate the point and click 
the pvp and town sieges have potential....BUT
servers seem to still be unstable
90% of 56k modem users get booted offline on loging in
theif backstab is almost always a 1 shot kill
did i mention fight lage and seeming server instability?
a reoccuring sb.exe error that crashes the game
just to name a few things

Servers are much more stable now then they were in Beta/ at release.
Thief Backstab is almost NEVER a one shot kill unless you are attacking someone of much lower level that is sitting down. (While sitting you take 2-3 times the normal dmg)
I have not seen a sb.exe error since the first week. (knock on wood)
Fight lag can be limited by turning down the graphics a bit.
Did I mention that the Servers are much more stable than they were originally?
