What Professor Dedlock wants is books, they are scattered all over SL.

The quest is actually the unlocking of Specializations which are needed to learn certain perks and nanos.

Spec 1 is you find 4 chapters of the "Mariner's Father"
Best place to find. Go in to Nascence through Jobe Research, run across the bridge. You'll see "flamey" looking birds that are omni sided and unredeemed sided mobs. You'll know it when you see it, just stick to the left once you've crossed the bridge. If you go through Garden, go out Frontier Bridge.

Spec 2 is you find 4 chapters of "The Girl Who Saw it All"
Best place to find. Go to Stormshelter in Elysium, or go in to the Temple of Bog in Scheol and kill the NAMED mobs. If you do the Temple and everyone is green to you in there, take a high level in there, team with them, and have him killed the named mobs while you loot.

Spec 3 is you find 4 editions of "Kanel's Story"
Best plce to find. Adonis Unredeemed Temple, kill the NAMED mobs. Same tactic as Spec 2.

Spec 4 if you find 4 volumes of "Africe's World Catalogue of Books"
Best place to find. Inferno Unredeemed City, kill the NAMED Mobs. To get there, go out Sorrow statue from Garden, and head across to Burning Marshes. If you have Sphere Map (if you have SL this is a REQUIREMENT to have) It's the Unredeemed city where Erath-Siur is. You can also do this inside the Unredeemed Temple, but uhh... good luck doing it there, just not possible.

Basic Cyberdeck - Spec 1, lvl 50 Req. +25
Augmented Cyberdeck, Spec 2, lvl 100 Req, +50
Jobe-Chipped Cyberdeck - Spec 3, lvl 150 Req, +75
Izgimmer-Modified Cyberdeck - Spec 4, level 200 Req, +100
